This is a project that I’m really proud of. The organization “Don’t Bully My Breed” asked me to donate a painting to help raise money for their cause. The winner of the raffle would receive a painting of their pup(s) painted by yours truly.
It's such a lovely day.

Here's a quick self portrait! Enjoy!
I'm pleased to announce that I currently have the following two pieces in rotation at Rarity Gallery in Mykonos, Greece. They are a part of an ongoing series of works investigating self-consciousness, ego, superego and the human personality. There is a lot of fantastic work at this gallery and I'm honored to have my work displayed along side it. If you have the opportunity, please drop in and have a look! Please share this post if you think you might know people who can get out to view the show!
Another one of these guys done! How do you like them sunflowers?
Inspired by the Kerry James Marshall show at the MCA (which you haven't seen, you should really get on that!), I've decided to do some paintings on tarps. I started this one yesterday. Working on tarp feels pretty normal, but the hanging and stretching process was a bit weird. I wonder if I have to pre-shrink these suckers to avoid getting this curved stretching. I went back in and added extra grommets between each factory grommet, but the canvas was already too stiff from gesso to stretch those pieces. I have another tarp that I added extra grommets before stretching, so hopefully that will work well. If anyone has any experience with this, I'd love to hear about it. And if you're reading this, Kerry, please chime in! ;)
Another Paper53 painting of my own face.
