Here's the first self portrait in a series of three for my Blue on Yellow Period as predicted by Dan Murphy. He thought that this period would directly follow my rhum phase. I am still in my rhum phase, but otherwise his prediction was accurate.
After a 5 month hiatus from this painting, while working on the mural at Navy Pier, I decided it was time to get back to it. Anyone who knows me, knows that this particular painting has been a struggle. That said, I'm really liking the way it's turning out. Here's some of the process so far! More to come!
As I get close to wrapping this up, and while waiting for paint to dry, I've decided to prime my next piece. Get ready for some more pictures in the vein (and vainness) of Selfversations.
